Babcock to appear on NHL Live!

Detroit Red Wings coach Mike Babcock will be among the guests on NHL Live! on Thursday, scheduled from noon-2 p.m. on NHL Network and NHL.com and broadcast on XM Radio.

Babcock, who guided the Anaheim Mighty Ducks to the Stanley Cup Final in 2003, has been Detroit's bench boss since 2005. He guided the Red Wings a championship in 2008 and has this season's club off to a 17-6-3 start.

Also scheduled to appear to speak with co-hosts Deb Placey and E.J. Hradek are NBC analyst Mike Milbury and St. Louis Blues radio play-by-play announcer Chris Kerber.

Arniel to appear on NHL Live!

Columbus Blue Jackets coach Scott Arniel will be among the guests on NHL Live! on Wednesday, scheduled from noon-2 p.m. on NHL Network and NHL.com and broadcast on XM Radio.

In his first season as an NHL coach, Arniel is off to a solid start with Columbus. The Blue Jackets currently reside in third place in the Central Division at 15-10-1.

Also scheduled to appear to speak with co-hosts Rob Simpson and E.J. Hradek are former New Jersey Devils forward Bobby Holik, TSN analyst Craig MacTavish and Nashville Predators play-by-play announcer Pete Weber.

Canucks forward Raymond to appear on NHL Live!

Bruins-Leafs on NHL Network

After beating Philadelphia and Tampa Bay, the Boston Bruins will go for a perfect week when they visit the struggling Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday.

The NHL Network and CBC's Hockey Night in Canada will air the game from the Air Canada Centre, starting at 7 p.m. ET.

Upshall and Clutterbuck on NHL Live!

Forwards Scottie Upshall of the Phoenix Coyotes and Cal Clutterbuck of the Minnesota Wild headline Thursday's edition of NHL Live!, scheduled from noon-2 p.m. ET on NHL Network and NHL.com, and broadcast on XM Radio.

Upshall had a pair of goals on Wednesday as he and the Coyotes got the better of Clutterbuck and the Wild in a 4-2 victory at Minnesota.

Also scheduled to join co-hosts Don La Greca and Stan Fischler are TV hockey analyst Mike Milbury and St. Louis Blues TV analyst Darren Pang.

Sherman, Biron to join NHL Live!

Colorado Avalanche General Manager Greg Sherman and New York Rangers goaltender Martin Biron headline Wednesday's edition of NHL Live!, scheduled from noon-2 p.m. ET on NHL Network and NHL.com, and broadcast on XM Radio.

Sherman will be talking about the two trades he's made the last few days, which saw the Avs acquire defenseman Matt Hunwick from the Boston Bruins and forward Tomas Fleischmann from the Washington Capitals.

Alex Ovechkin doesn't make many visits to St. Louis -- just two so far in his first five NHL seasons. He'll make the third visit of his career on Wednesday when he leads the Washington Capitals into the Scottrade Center for a game against the Blues.

Hockey fans in the United States can see the game on the NHL Network, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The Caps are looking for their first victory in St. Louis since October 1996.

Fans in Canada have a pair of games to look forward to on Wednesday.

Top Duck Ryan to appear on NHL Live!

Anaheim Ducks forward Bobby Ryan headlines Tuesday's edition of NHL Live!, scheduled from noon-2 p.m. ET on NHL Network and NHL.com, and broadcast on XM Radio.

Ryan had a hat trick Saturday and leads the Ducks with 12 goals. Anaheim's 2-0 win against the Kings Monday was their second straight and moved them up to ninth in the Western Conference.

Also scheduled to join co-hosts Don La Greca and E.J. Hradek on today's show are San Jose Sharks broadcaster Drew Remenda, who will preview tonight's Red Wings-Sharks game, and Kings goalie coach Bill Ranford.

Nashville Predators center Cal O'Reilly and Washington Capitals defenseman Karl Alzner will be guests on NHL Live! Monday, scheduled from noon-2 p.m. on NHL Network and NHL.com and broadcast on XM Radio.

O'Reilly, 24, has four goals and nine assists in 22 games for the Preds this season. He was selected by Nashville in the fifth round (No. 150) of the 2005 Entry Draft.

The Washington Capitals snapped out of a three-game funk on Wednesday with a victory at Carolina. Four days and a 6-0 win against Tampa Bay later, they'll try for a three-game winning streak when the Hurricanes come to the Verizon Center for one of three games on Sunday's NHL schedule.

Fans in Canada will be able to tune in to the NHL Network for the 5 p.m. ET faceoff. The Hurricanes will be trying to follow up on their 3-0 victory at Boston on Friday.
