Kings-Penguins on NHL Network

The Los Angeles Kings' tour of North America comes to Pittsburgh's Consol Energy Center on Thursday night.

The Kings, in the midst of a 10-game road trip, make their first visit to the Penguins' new home -- and just their third trip to Pittsburgh since October 2003 -- when they come to town for a 7 p.m. ET game.

The NHL Network (U.S.) will be on hand to see if the Sidney Crosby- and Evgeni Malkin-less Penguins can bounce back from Tuesday's 4-1 home loss to Columbus. The Kings have been off since Saturday's 4-3 shootout win at Calgary.

Wayne Gretzky on NHL Live!

Wayne Gretzky's Fantasy Camp in Las Vegas will host NHL Live! on Thursday, and The Great One will be among the guests when the show airs from noon-2 p.m. on NHL Network and NHL.com and broadcast on XM Radio.

Gretzky, the greatest scorer in NHL history, will be just one of the star-studded list of guests appearing with hosts Dave Strader and E.J. Hradek. Also appearing will be Hockey Hall of Famers Brett Hull and Brian Leetch, as well as former NHL stars Chris Chelios, Bernie Nicholls and Geoff and Russ Courtnall.
NHL Live! will also air from Las Vegas on Friday

Johnson, Roloson highlight NHL Live!

Thursday's edition of NHL Live! will have a goaltending theme as the Pittsburgh Penguins' Brent Johnson and the Tampa Bay Lightning's Dwayne Roloson are among those scheduled to appear on the show.

Johnson finished 16.5 seconds short of his second shutout of the season Wednesday when he was given a game misconduct for fighting the Islanders' Rick DiPietro.

Roloson is riding back-to-back shutouts, against the Maple Leafs and Flyers, heading into Friday's game against the Capitals -- a team Roloson has shut out twice this season.

Pekka Rinne on NHL Live!

Nashville Predators goaltender Pekka Rinne will be among Wednesday's guests on NHL Live!, scheduled from noon-2 p.m. on NHL Network and NHL.com and broadcast on XM Radio.

Rinne has a 17-13-4 record but is second in the NHL in goals-against average at 2.11 and runner-up in save percentage at .929.

Also scheduled to appear with hosts Rob Simpson and Dave Maloney are Minnesota Wild forward Andrew Brunette, who played his 1,000th NHL game on Tuesday, as well as former NHL star Bobby Holik and TSN analyst and former NHL forward Matthew Barnaby.

Feaster to appear on NHL Live!

Calgary Flames GM Jay Feaster will be a guest on NHL Live! on Tuesday, scheduled from noon-2 p.m. on NHL Network and NHL.com and broadcast on XM Radio.

Feaster was named acting GM when he replaced Darryl Sutter on Dec. 28. Calgary has played better since the change and enters Tuesday's action just two points out of a playoff spot in the Western Conference.

NHL Network Mock Draft tonight at 8 p.m.

All-Star captains Eric Staal of the hometown Carolina Hurricanes and Nicklas Lidstrom of the Detroit Red Wings have some tough choices to make Friday night, but on Thursday at 8 p.m. it will be NHL Network analysts Kevin Weekes and Mike Johnson going head-to-head to select this year's All-Star teams in the NHL Network 2011 All-Star Mock Draft.

As part of the network's All-Star coverage, draft architect Brendan Shanahan will take viewers through the selection process and both Staal and Lidstrom will make appearances to offer last-minute insight and tips.

NHL On the Fly host Brian Duff will hosts the program.

Roenick part of NHL Network's All-Star coverage

Thanks to the new format for choosing sides in the 2011 NHL All-Star Game presented by Discover, it is possible members of the Chicago Blackhawks and Philadelphia Flyers will team up at RBC Center in Raleigh, N.C., just months after battling for the Stanley Cup.

NHL Network will have a special guest analyst for All-Star Weekend with plenty of history playing for both. Jeremy Roenick, a nine-time All-Star who spent eight seasons with Chicago and three playing for Philadelphia, will join the crew breaking down the weekend -- including a one-on-one on-ice challenge with ex-NHL goaltender and colleague Kevin Weeks.

The inclusion of "JR" is just one of the highlights of All-Star Weekend coverage in Raleigh by NHL Network, NHL.com, NHL Radio and NHL Mobile.

Boyle to appear on NHL Live!
