Coyotes re-sign Connauton, add McBain

GLENDALE, Ariz. - The Arizona Coyotes have re-signed defenceman Kevin Connauton to a two-year contract and signed former Los Angeles Kings defenceman Jamie McBain to a one-year deal.

Arizona also signed defencemen Klas Dahlbeck and Jarred Tinordi, forwards Chris Mueller and Garret Ross, along with goalie Justin Peters to one-year deals on Friday. Forward Ryan White signed a one-year deal later in the day.

Connauton had five goals and 12 assists in 65 games with Arizona and Columbus last season. He has 15 goals and 31 assists in 163 games.

McBain played 44 games for the Kings last season, finishing with two goals and seven assists. He has 30 goals and 80 assists in 345 games, with Los Angeles, Buffalo and Carolina.

Dahlbeck played 71 games with Arizona last season, finishing with two goals and six assists. The 24-year-old has three goals and nine assists in 94 games with the Coyotes and Chicago.

Tinordi had six assists in 53 games with Arizona and Montreal.

Peters, who spent last season with Hershey of the AHL, has gone 25-37-9 with a 3.08 goals-against average in 80 games.

Mueller has three goals and seven assists in 53 games with the New York Rangers, Dallas and Nashville. He played for San Diego of the AHL last season.

White had 11 goals and five assists in 73 games with Philadelphia last season, setting career highs. He has 22 goals and 23 assists in 248 games with the Flyers and Montreal Canadiens.
