Pittsburgh Penguins could have both Fleury and Malkin back for Game 2

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Pittsburgh Penguins may be getting a real boost for Game 2 against the New York Rangers on Saturday afternoon.

Already up 1-0 in their best-of-seven first-round series, Pittsburgh may have No. 1 goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury and top centre Evgeni Malkin back in the lineup. Penguins coach Mike Sullivan listed both as game-time decisions.

Fleury hasn't played since Mar. 31 because of a concussion while Malkin has been out since mid-March with an upper-body injury. Malkin returned to his first full practice with the club on Friday, etching out a desire earlier this week to return in time to face the Rangers.

He was due to miss six-to-eight weeks with the injury. A return Saturday would mark just over five weeks.

Fleury was replaced in Game 1 by 28-year-old untested third-stringer Jeff Zatkoff. Zatkoff was brilliant with 35 saves in the Penguins' 5-2 victory.
