LAKE ERIE, - Antoine Bibeau stopped 33 shots and the Toronto Marlies used a three-goal second period to get past the Lake Erie Monsters 4-1 in American Hockey League action on Sunday.
Eric Faille, John Kurtz and Richard Clune scored consecutive goals in a 14-minute span in the second for the Marlies (46-15-5) and T.J. Brennan added an empty netter with two seconds left in the third.
Lukas Sedlak scored the lone goal for Lake Erie (34-21-10), spoiling Bibeau's shutout bid 1:18 into the third period.
