GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Eric Tangradi struck twice and set up three more as the Grand Rapids Griffins extended their win streak to nine games on Friday with a 7-2 victory over the Manitoba Moose in American Hockey League action.
Robbie Russo and Andy Miele each had a goal and three helpers for the Griffins (37-20-2) while Anthony Mantha added a goal and two assists. Tyler Bertuzzi and Nick Jensen each scored once to round out the offence.
Chase De Leo and Dan DeSalvo scored for the Moose (18-34-9), who are on a four-game slide.
Grand Rapids netminder Jared Coreau made 20 saves for the win as Connor Hellebuyck allowed seven goals on 35 shots for Manitoba.
The Griffins went 2 for 4 on the power play while the Moose scored twice on five chances with the man advantage.
Grand Rapids winger Mitch Callahan was ejected at 6:07 of the third period after receiving a major for elbowing.
