BATHURST, N.B. - Maxime Fortier scored twice in under two minutes and the Halifax Mooseheads used a four-goal third period to rally past the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 4-2 on Tuesday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.
Fortier scored his first goal 46 seconds into the third period and his second, tying the game at 2-2, came 1:24 later. Arnaud Durandeau and Ilya Putintsev continued the barrage for Halifax (20-37-7) with two more goals in the final period.
Christoph Boivin scored twice in the second period for the Titan (25-32-6).
Kevin Resop earned the win by stopping 38 shots. Tanner Somers made 25 saves in a losing effort.
The Mooseheads were 0 for 2 on the power play while Acadie-Bathurst scored once on three chances with the man advantage.
