Dumont has three points to lead AHL IceCaps in 4-2 victory over Senators

ST. JOHN'S, N.L. - Gabriel Dumont had a goal and two assists to lift the St. John's IceCaps to a 4-2 victory over the Binghamton Senators in American Hockey League action on Tuesday.

Charles Hudon had a power-play goal and an assist for St. John's (26-26-11) with Shane Bakker and Max Friberg rounding out the attack.

Jason Akeson had a goal and an assist for the Senators (22-32-4). Guillaume Lepine also scored.

Eddie Pasquale made 24 saves for the win. Matt O'Connor stopped 37 shots in the losing effort.

The IceCaps were 1 for 2 on the power play while Binghamton failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.
