WHL Roundup: Warriors rally in third period for 6-4 win over Broncos

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - Dryden Hunt scored twice and added an assist and the Moose Jaw Warriors used a four-goal third period to rally past the Swift Current Broncos 6-4 on Monday in Western Hockey League action.

Brayden Point, Marc McNulty, Jesse Shynkaruk and Hunt, into an empty net, scored four straight goals in the final 15 minutes of the game as Moose Jaw (34-25-8) erased a 4-2 deficit.

Tanner Jeannot had the other Warriors goal, in the second period. Hunt scored his first of the game on a power play in the second period.

Glenn Gawdin had a goal and two assists for the Broncos (23-35-8). Kaden Elder, Lane Pederson and Max Lajoie also scored.

Zach Sawchenko stopped 31 shots for the victory. Travis Child made 39 saves in defeat.

OIL KINGS 5 BLADES 2

EDMONTON — Davis Koch scored twice and Brett Pollock had a goal and two assists as the Oil Kings downed Saskatoon.

Andrew Koep and Lane Bauer had the other Edmonton (28-31-7) goals.

Dustin Perillat and Nick Zajac scored for the Blades (25-37-4).
