COLUMBUS, Ohio - Brandon Dubinsky scored the only shootout goal in the third round, and Scott Hartnell had a goal and assist as the hot Columbus Blue Jackets beat the Atlantic Division-leading Florida Panthers 4-3 on Saturday.

Seth Jones and Brandon Saad also scored for Columbus, which has won nine of its last 14 games. Alexander Wennberg added two assists. Joonas Korpisalo made 28 saves in regulation and overtime to pick up an 11th win in his last 16 starts.

Aleksander Barkov, Vincent Trocheck and Logan Shaw scored for Florida. The Panthers entered with wins in three of four games as they try to hold off rivals Tampa Bay and Boston for the division crown. Roberto Luongo had 22 saves in regulation and overtime.

Dubinsky initially mishandled the puck but still was able roof a hard shot for the clinching goal.

FLYERS 4, COYOTES 2

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Claude Giroux scored one of Philadelphia's three first-period goals for his 500th career point and Mark Streit had three assists to lead the Flyers to a victory over Arizona.

Scott Laughton, Sam Gagner and Pierre-Edouard Bellemare also scored for the Flyers, who have won both games so far of a six-game homestand that likely will determine their playoff fate. Philadelphia began the day behind three teams and three points back of a playoff spot.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Brad Richardson scored for the Coyotes, who tied a season high with their fifth straight loss.

PENGUINS 4, JETS 1

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Carl Hagelin scored twice and Pittsburgh welcomed star forward Evgeni Malkin back from injury with a victory against Winnipeg.

Hagelin scored his sixth and seventh of the season for Pittsburgh and Scott Wilson added a third-period goal.

Defenceman Kris Letang scored his 10th of the season for the Penguins, who had Malkin back in the lineup after the 2012 NHL MVP missed 10 games with a lower-body injury. Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 27 shots for his 25th win.

Blake Wheeler scored his 18th of the season for the Jets.

RANGERS 3, STARS 2

DALLAS (AP) — Kevin Klein scored with 2:53 left to lift New York over Dallas.

Ryan McDonagh gave the Rangers a 2-1 lead with a goal 8:26 into the third, and then helped prevent a tying goal by sliding over a loose puck at the goal line.

Valeri Nichushkin scored for Dallas with 4:01 left, but then Klein got the winner from the slot into the upper right corner of the net.

Chris Kreider also scored, and Henrik Lundqvist made 36 saves for the Rangers.

Colton Sceviour also scored for the Stars, and Kari Lehtonen made 26 saves.

PREDATORS 5, BLUES 0

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Filip Forsberg recorded his second hat trick in four days and Pekka Rinne posted a 26-save shutout in Nashville's win over St. Louis.

Forsberg scored three goals during a 14-minute span to start the second period, leading the Predators to their fourth straight win.

The left winger from Sweden posted his first career hat trick in Tuesday's 3-2 win at Toronto.

Linemate Craig Smith scored the Predators' first goal and Colin Wilson scored the fifth.

Rinne became the fifth active goalie to record 40 career shutouts.

Blue goaltender Jake Allen allowed five goals on 29 shots.
