OTTAWA - Brendan Perlini scored twice as the Niagara IceDogs raced past the Ottawa 67's 4-1 on Monday in Ontario Hockey League play.
Perlini also assisted on Jordan Maletta's goal as Niagara (28-22-6) reeled off three unanswered goals. Aleksandar Mikulovich opened scoring in the first period. Alex Nedeljkovic made 24 saves for the win.
Dante Salituro had a short-handed goal for Ottawa (29-26-3). Liam Herbst stopped 29 shots for the 67's.
Neither team scored on the power play. The IceDogs went 0 for 3 and Ottawa was 0 for 6.
