Jason Dickinson leads AHL Stars in 7-6 shootout victory over Moose

WINNIPEG - Jason Dickinson had a goal and two assists in regulation, then scored the shootout winner as the Texas Stars edged the Manitoba Moose 7-6 on Wednesday in American Hockey League action.

Esa Lindell, Julius Honka, Curtis McKenzie, Ludwig Bystrom and Derek Hulak also scored for the Stars (13-27-7).

Nic Petan led the Moose (27-18-7) with two goals and an assist. Josh Morrissey, Brenden Kichton, Scott Kosmachuk and Julian Melchiori supplied the rest of the offence.

Maxime Lagace stopped 28 shots for the win.

Jussi Olkinuora started in net for Manitoba, making 17 saves on 21 shots through 42:19. Eric Comrie stopped 11-of-13 shots the rest of the way.
