Les Panthers auraient accordé une prolongation de six ans à Aleksander Barkov

MONTRÉAL - Les Panthers de la Floride auraient accordé une prolongation de contrat de six ans au joueur de centre Aleksander Barkov.

Selon le Miami Herald, qui a annoncé la nouvelle lundi, le pacte s'élève à 35,4 millions $.

Deuxième joueur choisi à l'encan amateur de 2013, Barkov a inscrit 30 points, dont 12 buts, en 38 matchs cette saison.

L'attaquant âgé de 20 ans totalise 90 points en 163 rencontres en carrière dans la LNH.

Les Panthers (28-15-5) occupent le premier rang de la section Atlantique avec 61 points, et ont remporté 14 de leurs 18 dernières sorties.
