Jets' Byfuglien leaves game with upper-body injury
Winnipeg Jets defenseman Dustin Byfuglien left the game against the Nashville Predators at MTS Centre on Thursday with an apparent upper-body injury.

Winnipeg Jets defenseman Dustin Byfuglien left a 5-4 overtime win against the Nashville Predators at MTS Centre in the third period Thursday with an apparent upper-body injury.

He was favoring his left arm when he left the ice with 13:26 remaining in the period following a collision with Nashville's Cody Bass in the neutral zone. The Jets were leading 4-1 at the time.

Byfuglien had two goals and a plus-3 rating in 20:34.

He will travel with the Jets, who play at the Minnesota Wild on Friday, and be evaluated then, coach Paul Maurice said.
