Giants' Benson and Tkachuk of Knights to serve as captains at Top Prospects Game

TORONTO - Vancouver Giants forward Tyler Benson will serve as captain of Team Cherry at the CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game at his home arena this month.

London Knights forward Matthew Tkachuk will wear the 'C' for Team Orr. The annual showcase of the Canadian Hockey League's top 40 draft-eligible players is set for Jan. 28 at the Pacific Coliseum.

Team Cherry's alternate captains include Jakob Chychrun of the Sarnia Sting and Julien Gauthier of the Val-d'Or Foreurs.

Jake Bean of the Calgary Hitmen and Pierre-Luc Dubois of the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles will serve as Team Orr alternates.
