Jean-Sebastien Dea helps Penguins rally past IceCaps 2-1

ST. JOHN'S, N.L. - Jean-Sebastien Dea's goal early in the third period was the winner as the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins rallied past the St. John's IceCaps 2-1 on Tuesday in American Hockey League action.

Dea scored 3:21 into the third as the Penguins (27-8-1) recovered from an early 1-0 deficit. Derrick Pouliot's power-play goal in the second period tied it 1-1. Matt Murray made 33 saves for the win.

Captain Gabriel Dumont scored just 21 seconds into the game for St. John's (16-12-8), the minor-league affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens. Zach Fucale stopped 21 shots for the IceCaps.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton went 1 for 3 on the power play, while St. John's could not score on its five chances with the man advantage.

The Penguins have won six straight games, while the IceCaps have dropped three in a row.
