Toews tranche en prolongation et les Blackhawks battent l'Avalanche 4-3

DENVER - Jonathan Toews a joué les héros en avantage numérique après 3:29 de jeu en prolongation et les Blackhawks de Chicago ont défait l'Avalanche du Colorado 4-3, jeudi.

L'Avalanche a été puni en prolongation pour avoir eu trop de joueurs sur la patinoire et Toews en a profité pour mettre fin aux hostilités. Le capitaine des Blackhawks a battu le gardien Semyon Varlamov d'un tir haut alors qu'il était posté à l'embouchure du filet.

Artem Anisimov, Andrew Desjardins et Patrick Kane avaient aidé les Blackhawks à prendre les devants 3-1 après moins de 25 minutes de jeu. Cody McLeod et Erik Johnson ont aidé l'Avalanche à combler le déficit.

Carl Soderberg avait ouvert la marque tôt en première période pour l'Avalanche.

Varlamov a accordé quatre buts sur 43 tirs, tandis que Scott Darling a cédé trois fois contre 30 lancers devant le filet des Blackhawks.
