Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Wednesday for a hit against forward Mark Borowiecki of the Ottawa Senators during a game Tuesday at TD Garden.

The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: Clipping and interference.

The incident occurred with 11:16 remaining in the first period. No penalty was called. Borowiecki left the game briefly but returned and played 21 shifts totaling 14:43 of ice time

Boston won the game 7-3.
