Kings center Carter day-to-day with injury: report
Los Angeles Kings center Jeff Carter is day-to-day because of an upper-body injury, according to LAKingsInsider.com

Los Angeles Kings forward Jeff Carter is day-to-day because of an upper-body injury, general manager Dean Lombardi told LAKingsInsider.com on Sunday.

Carter played two shifts in the Kings' 4-3 overtime win at the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday. He appeared to have sustained the injury during the opening faceoff. He returned to Los Angeles after the game.

Lombardi said he is hopeful Carter will rejoin the Kings for the remainder of their four-game road trip, which continues Monday at the Vancouver Canucks.

Carter leads the Kings with 17 assists and 28 points in 34 games.
