Goalie Dubnyk to start for Wild on Thursday
Goalie Devan Dubnyk will start for the Minnesota Wild on Thursday against the New York Rangers after missing four games with a groin strain.

Goalie Devan Dubnyk will start for the Minnesota Wild on Thursday against the New York Rangers after missing four games with a groin strain, Wild coach Mike Yeo said Wednesday.

"Felt like a long week and a half," Dubnyk said in comments tweeted by the Wild. "Practices have felt good."

Dubnyk was injured during the second period of the Wild's game against the Colorado Avalanche on Deb. 5. He's 13-7-2 with a 2.30 goals-against average and .918 save percentage in 23 games.

Darcy Kuemper has started the past four games for the Wild and has allowed two goals or fewer in each of his past five appearances. He's 3-0-4 with a 2.28 GAA and .922 save percentage in eight appearances.
