Stars activate Lehtonen, reassign Campbell to AHL
The Dallas Stars activated goaltender Kari Lehtonen from injured reserve Wednesday.

The Dallas Stars activated goaltender Kari Lehtonen from injured reserve Wednesday, the Stars announced.

Lehtonen sustained an upper-body injury in the third period of a Nov. 24 game against the Ottawa Senators. He is 9-1-0 in 11 games with a 2.41 goals-against average and .921 save percentage.

Goalie Jack Campbell, who was recalled in Lehtonen's absence, was reassigned to Texas of the American Hockey League.

Campbell did not appear in a game during his recall. Antti Niemi went 2-0-1 in starting the past three games.
