Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Radko Gudas will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Wednesday for a hit against forward Mika Zibanejad of the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday during a game at Canadian Tire Centre.
The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: illegal check to the head.
The incident occurred during a faceoff at 2:06 of the third period and no penalty was called on the play. Zibanejad left the game and did not return.
Philadelphia won 4-2.
