Dubinsky suspended one game for cross-checking
Columbus Blue Jackets center Brandon Dubinsky was suspended one game for cross-checking the Pittsburgh Penguins' Sidney Crosby on Friday.

NEW YORKColumbus Blue Jackets forward Brandon Dubinsky has been suspended for one game, without pay, for cross-checking Pittsburgh Penguins forward Sidney Crosby during NHL Game No. 337 in Columbus on Friday, Nov. 27, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 18:40 of the second period. Dubinsky was assessed a two-minute penalty for cross-checking.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and, based on his average annual salary, Dubinsky will forfeit $31,451.61. The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
