Florida Panthers forward Jaromir Jagr practiced Saturday and is expected to be in the lineup Sunday against the Detroit Red Wings, coach Gerard Gallant said, after Jagr missed the end of their 3-2 shootout win Friday against the New York Islanders.
"I haven't talked to him today, but the trainers say he's going to be fine for tomorrow," Gallant said.
Jagr remains one goal behind Marcel Dionne for fourth place on the NHL's all-time list with 731. He did not return after leaving the game Friday at 8:39 of the third period, after he had an assist for his Panthers-leading 18th point. Jagr has a goal and four assists during a five-game point streak.
Defenseman Dmitry Kulikov practiced Saturday and will travel with the Panthers but won't play Sunday. Kulikov has been sidelined since mid-November with a lower-body injury expected to keep him out 2-4 weeks.
The Panthers announced the recall of defenseman Dylan Olsen from Portland of the American Hockey League.
