Wild's Parise skates for first time since knee injury
Minnesota Wild forward Zach Parise skated Monday, the first time he's been on the ice since sustaining a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee Nov. 5.

Minnesota Wild forward Zach Parise skated Monday, the first time he's been on the ice since sustaining a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee Nov. 5 against the Nashville Predators, coach Mike Yeo said.

However Parise isn't ready to start playing games yet. The Wild said he is week-to-week with the injury, and Yeo said there is no timetable for his return.

"Zach skated today," Yeo said in a video posted to the Wild website. "He isn't going to travel on the road with us but he will continue to skate. He's getting better and we'll see where he's at when we get back from the road trip."

The Wild are in the midst of four consecutive road games. They play the final two Tuesday at the Pittsburgh Penguins and Thursday at the Boston Bruins. Their next home game is Saturday against the Predators.

In 12 games this season Parise has seven goals and two assists.
