NHL issues security advisory after attacks in Paris
The NHL issued a security advisory Friday after attacks in Paris that targeted areas with large crowds.

The NHL released the following statement Friday after attacks in Paris that targeted areas with large crowds.

"We have sent an advisory to our Clubs to be on heightened alert given today's events in Paris," Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly said.

Reports say more than 100 people were killed in the attacks, which included a bombing outside Stade de France where France was playing Germany in a soccer friendly.
