REIMER, LUPUL LEAD MAPLE LEAFS OVER STARS

James Reimer made 43 saves and Joffrey Lupul (2-1—3) scored two second-period goals to help the Toronto Maple Leafs improve to 6-1-0 in their past seven games vs. the Dallas Stars dating to Nov. 22, 2010 (DAL: 1-4-2), which includes a 4-0-0 record at home.

* Reimer – who made 19 of his 43 saves in the second period stanza – is 2-1-1 (2.77 GAA, .908 SV%). Reimer denied Valeri Nichushkin on a third-period penalty shot attempt.

Down 2-1 at the outset of the third period, the Chicago Blackhawks scored three unanswered goals in a 4-2 win against the Los Angeles Kings for their sixth consecutive victory on home ice.
