Blackhawks name Seabrook as alternate captain
When the 2015-16 season begins on Oct. 7, the United Center will have a new championship banner, and the Blackhawks will have a new alternate captain on the ice. Joel Quenneville announced today that Brent Seabrook will join Duncan Keith and Jonathan Toews as the team’s captains.

Joel Quenneville announced today that Brent Seabrook will join Duncan Keith and Jonathan Toews as the team’s captains.

“I’m very honored to be a part of the (leadership) group up here and wear a letter for the Chicago Blackhawks,” Seabrook said.
