NEW YORK, N.Y. - The New York Islanders re-signed centre Brock Nelson to a three-contract Wednesday. Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.
The 23-year-old Nelson had 20 goals and 22 assists in 82 regular-season games last season and added two goals in seven playoff games. As a rookie in 2013-14, the former University of North Dakota player had 14 goals and 12 assists in 72 regular-season games.
From Warroad, Minnesota, he was drafted 30th overall in 2010.
