Blackhawks' Darling throws first pitch at Cubs game
Chicago Blackhawks goalie Scott Darling threw out the first pitch at the Chicago Cubs-Arizona Diamondbacks game at Wrigley Field on Sunday.

Chicago Blackhawks goalie Scott Darling threw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Chicago Cubs played the Arizona Diamondbacks at Wrigley Field on Sunday.

A Cubs fan growing up in the Chicago suburb of Lemont, Ill., Darling made his second trip to Wrigley Field since Chicago won the Stanley Cup for the third time in six seasons. One day after defeating the Tampa Bay Lightning in six games, Darling and the Blackhawks brought the Cup to Wrigley, where captain Jonathan Toews threw out the first pitch.

Darling went 9-4-0 with a 1.94 goals-against average and .936 save percentage in 14 regular-season games (13 starts). He was 3-1 with a 2.21 GAA and .936 save percentage in five games (four starts) during the Stanley Cup Playoffs as the backup to Corey Crawford.
