Restricted free agent forward Colin Wilson is asking for $4.25 million in arbitration with the Nashville Predators, who are offering $3 million, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported Sunday.
Wilson's hearing is scheduled for Tuesday in Toronto. He made $2.5 million last season, when he set NHL career highs with 20 goals, 42 points and 172 shots. He had five goals in the Western Conference First Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, which the Predators lost in six games to the Chicago Blackhawks.
The Predators avoided arbitration with Craig Smith when the forward signed a five-year, $21.25 million contract on July 20.
