NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Nashville Predators have signed defenceman Anthony Bitetto to a one-year, two-way contract after he accepted his qualifying offer.
The deal announced Monday will pay him $665,000 in the NHL or $60,000 in the minors.
Bitetto was the 168th pick overall in the 2010 draft, and he made his NHL debut this season playing seven games for Nashville in January and February. He spent most of his third season in the AHL with the Milwaukee Admirals where he ranked second among defencemen with 30 points.
The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Bitetto tied for sixth among AHL defencemen with 11 goals and ninth with six power-play goals in his first full season in Milwaukee in 2013-14.
