Forward Patrick Eaves signed a one-year contract with the Dallas Stars on Wednesday. Financial terms were not disclosed, but the Dallas Morning News reported the contract is worth $1.15 million.
Eaves, 31, put up his best numbers in eight seasons with 14 goals and 27 points in 47 games.
He was the 29th pick of the 2003 NHL Draft by the Ottawa Senators. He scored a career-high 20 goals as a rookie for them in 2005-06, and had 14 goals and a career-high 32 points the next season.
