L'attaquant Anders Lee conclut une entente de 4 ans avec les Islanders

NEW YORK, États-Unis - Les Islanders de New York ont conclu une entente de quatre ans avec l'attaquant Anders Lee.

Le directeur général des Islanders Garth Snow a annoncé la mise sous contrat mardi.

Lee a marqué 25 buts en 76 rencontres à sa saison recrue l'an dernier, terminant à ce chapitre deuxième chez les Islanders et quatrième dans le circuit Bettman.

Les Islanders ont sélectionné le joueur âgé de 24 ans en sixième ronde lors du repêchage de la LNH en 2009. Il a obtenu 57 points (35 buts et 22 mentions d'assistance) en 100 matchs en carrière dans la LNH. Il a aussi récolté 45 points (25 buts, 21 passes) en 59 matchs en carrière dans l'AHL avec les Sound Tigers de Bridgeport.

Lee a inscrit 61 buts et amassé 55 mentions d'aide en 124 matchs en carrière dans la NCAA avec l'Université Notre Dame. Avant sa carrière universitaire, il a joué pour les Gamblers de Green Bay dans l'U.S. Hockey League.
