Senators, Wideman agree on two-way contract
The Ottawa Senators announced today that the club has agreed to terms with defenceman Chris Wideman on a one-year, two-way contract. The contract will carry an annual value of $600,000 in the National Hockey League and of $400,000 in the American Hockey League.

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators announced today that the club has agreed to terms with defenseman Chris Wideman on a one-year, two-way contract. The contract will carry an annual value of $600,000 in the National Hockey League and of $400,000 in the American Hockey League.

Wideman, 25, spent the season with Ottawa's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators, setting career highs in games (75), goals (19), points (61) and penalty minutes (116). His 61 points were most among all AHL defenseman and he was Binghamton’s lone representative at the 2014-15 All-Star Classic.
