Flames acquire defenceman Dougie Hamilton from Flames for draft picks

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Boston Bruins dealt defenceman Dougie Hamilton to the Calgary Flames on Friday, according to several media reports.

The move came hours before the start of the 2015 NHL draft.

The 22-year-old Hamilton has 22 goals and 61 assists over three seasons in Boston.

Hamilton has a career plus-23 defensive rating and was drafted ninth overall by the Bruins in 2011.
