Riggle, Daughtry to headline 2015 NHL Awards
The 2015 NHL Awards will be hosted by actor and comedian Rob Riggle and will feature a live musical performance from rock band Daughtry.

LAS VEGAS – The 2015 NHL Awards™ special salute to the best regular-season players and performances will be hosted by actor and comedian Rob Riggle and will feature a live musical performance from rock band Daughtry followed by a full concert on Wednesday, June 24 at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, the National Hockey League announced today. The two-hour primetime awards show will broadcast live at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on NBCSN in the U.S. and Sportsnet in Canada. Tickets to the 2015 NHL Awards go on sale today at any MGM Resorts box office location.

Riggle is widely known for his memorable comedic roles in films such as The Hangover, Step Brothers, The Other Guys, 21 Jump Street, 22 Jump Street, Dumb & Dumber To. The stand-up comedian and improv actor's television credits include Saturday Night Live, his work as a correspondent on The Daily Show, a recurring role on Modern Family and the star of the new Fox animated series, Golan the Insatiable. The Kansas native is a passionate sports fan and recently retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve after 23 years of service.

Daughtry has scored four No. 1 hits, garnered four GRAMMY Award nominations, won four American Music Awards, sold more than 8 million albums and has sold-out concerts worldwide. Daughtry's self-titled debut album was the fastest selling rock debut in Soundscan history and its follow up, Leave This Town, marked the quintet's second consecutive No. 1 album. Daughtry's third album Break The Spell was certified gold in only four weeks of its release. Daughtry's single "Waiting For Superman" broke into the Top 15 and its new single "Battleships" is racing up the charts. The band's latest album Baptized was released in November 2013.

Tickets priced at $58, $103, $153 and $253, not including applicable service charges, go on sale today and include admission to both the Awards show and the concert. Tickets will be sold at all Las Vegas Ticketmaster locations (select Smith's Food and Drug Centers and Ritmo Latino). Ticket sales are limited to eight (8) per person. The 2015 NHL Awards will honor the best regular-season players in a wide range of categories, including most valuable player (Hart Trophy), outstanding goaltender (Vezina Trophy), outstanding defenseman (Norris Trophy) and outstanding rookie (Calder Trophy); the Ted Lindsay Award, which is presented annually to the "most outstanding player" in the NHL as voted by fellow members of the National Hockey League Players' Association (NHLPA), also will be awarded. EA SPORTS will unveil the Cover Athlete for the upcoming launch of NHL® 16. A full line up of presenters will be announced at a future date.

The 2015 NHL Awards marks the first year the event will be held at the MGM Grand, the seventh year of a successful partnership with Las Vegas and the sixth time the NHL will honor the best hockey players in the world and the top performances of the season in Las Vegas.
