Predators scratch Weber for 3rd straight game, Fisher active for Game 5 against Blackhawks

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - With his team facing elimination in a first-round playoff series against the Chicago Blackhawks, Nashville Predators coach Peter Laviolette remains noncommittal on the status of injured players Shea Weber and Mike Fisher.

Weber hasn't played since getting hurt in Game 2. Fisher left Game 1 with a lower-body injury and hasn't played since.

Fisher took part in Thursday's morning skate, but Weber didn't. The Predators trail the series 3-1 heading into Thursday night's Game 5 in Nashville.

Laviolette said Thursday that "we really have nothing to report on any of our players."

Also missing from the morning skate was Colin Wilson, who has four goals in the series.

Eric Nystrom skated Thursday morning. Nystrom has been sidelined with a lower-body injury since March 3.
