MINNESOTA WINS FOURTH STRAIGHT IN VICTORY OVER CALGARY

With the score knotted at 1-1 heading into the third period, the Minnesota Wild scored three consecutive goals to eventually defeat the Calgary Flames 4-2. The Wild have won four straight games and improved to 43-25-7 (93 points) this season.

* Minnesota occupies the first Wild Card spot in the Western Conference and moved three points ahead of the idle Winnipeg Jets, who occupy the final Wild Card spot with a record of 39-24-12 (90 points). The Wild also moved within a point of the Chicago Blackhawks, who rank third in the Central Division with a record of 44-24-6 (94 points).

* Zach Parise (1-0—1) netted his team-leading 30th goal of the season on a breakaway and has recorded 15 points (10-5—15) in 15 games versus Calgary.

* Parise reached the 30-goal mark for the sixth time in his career. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Parise is the only active American-born skater to record six 30-goal seasons since 2005-06.

* In his 33rd consecutive start, which includes a franchise-record 32 straight starts with Minnesota, Devan Dubnyk made 23 saves to improve to 34-11-3 this season with a 2.07 goals-against average and a .930 save percentage. Dubnyk also improved to 25-6-1 since being acquired by the Wild on Jan. 14, which includes victories in four consecutive decisions and a record of 3-0-0 versus Calgary this season.

* Elias says Dubnyk is the first goaltender to start in 33 straight games since Anttii Niemi made 34 consecutive starts with the San Jose Sharks from Jan. 15-April 4, 2011.

* Mikko Koivu (1-0—1) scored his 12th goal of the season, his third game-winning goal of the season.

* Minnesota swept their season series versus Calgary (3-0-0) and improved to 5-1-0 in their last six home games against the Flames.

* The Wild have earned points in 17 of their last 21 games against Western Conference opponents (16-4-1).

ATKINSON'S HAT TRICK LIFTS COLUMBUS OVER CHICAGO

Cam Atkinson (3-0—3) recorded the second hat trick of his NHL career to lead the Columbus Blue Jackets to their fifth straight win, 5-2 over the Chicago Blackhawks. The Blue Jackets also improved to 6-1-1 in their last eight games.

* The Blue Jackets established a franchise record with seven consecutive road victories. With 21 total road victories this season (21-15-2), Columbus also matched a franchise record from 2013-14 for total road wins in a season (21-17-3).

* Atkinson scored an even-strength goal, a shorthanded goal and an empty-net goal. The second was Atkinson's first shorthanded goal of the season and he has back-to-back multipoint games (3-2—5) for the first time this season.

* According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Atkinson became the fourth player in franchise history to score an even-strength goal, a shorthanded goal and an empty-net goal in the same game; Rick Nash did so on Dec. 31, 2007, David Vyborny did so on Nov. 7, 2003 and Tyler Wright did so on March 16, 2001 during the club's inaugural season.

* Sergei Bobrovsky made 31 saves to win his fourth straight decision. Bobrovsky improved to 24-17-2 this season with a 2.76 goals-against average and a .916 save percentage. Bobrovsky, who has made 30 or more saves in six of his last seven decisions, improved to 8-1-0 in his last nine decisions.

* Ryan Johansen (1-1—2) scored his 25th goal and added his team-leading 40th assist to record his 14th multipoint game of the season. The performance allowed Johansen to extend his point streak to six games (3-5—8).

* Cody Goloubef (0-2—2) recorded the second multiassist game of his career.

* Kevin Connauton (1-0—1) scored his ninth goal of the season, his fourth game-winning goal of the season.

* Columbus earned their first victory in Chicago since a 4-3 win on Feb. 18, 2011 to sweep their season series versus the Blackhawks (2-0-0). The Blue Jackets have won six consecutive games against Western Conference opponents.

DID YOU KNOW?

Columbus forward Scott Hartnell scored a hat trick in the team's previous game on March 24.

* According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Hartnell and Atkinson's performances marked the first time in franchise history that two Columbus players recorded hat tricks in consecutive games.

BACHMAN, MILLER LEAD OILERS PAST STARS

Richard Bachman stopped all 29 shots he faced and Andrew Miller (1-0—1) scored the first goal of his NHL career on a penalty shot to lift the Edmonton Oilers to a 4-0 win over the Dallas Stars. Edmonton earned their first home victory over Dallas since a 4-1 win on Feb. 15, 2011.

* Bachman made 29 saves to earn his first win with the Oilers and the second shutout of his NHL career. Bachman's victory against his former club improved his record to 1-2-0 this season with a 3.65 goals-against average and a .892 save percentage.

* According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Miller became the first player in franchise history to score the first goal of his NHL career on a penalty shot. In fact, the last player to do so was Jay McClement on Oct. 11, 2005 during his rookie season with the St. Louis Blues.

* Benoit Pouliot (1-1—2) scored his 17th goal and added his 13th assist to post his eighth multipoint performance of the season.

* Jordan Eberle (1-0—1) opened the scoring 33 seconds into the contest with his 22nd goal of the season. It is the second game-winning goal of the season for Eberle, who leads the club in points with 60 (22-38—60).
