Former NHL assistant Hunter to coach Canada U-18's
Hockey Canada on Friday named Tim Hunter coach for the 2015 IIHF World Under-18 Championship, which will be held April 16-26 in Zug and Lucerne, Switzerland.

Hockey Canada on Friday named Tim Hunter coach for the 2015 IIHF World Under-18 Championship, which will be held April 16-26 in Zug and Lucerne, Switzerland.

Hunter, who has been an assistant coach in the NHL with the Washington Capitals, Toronto Maple Leafs, and San Jose Sharks, is in his first season as coach of the Moose Jaw Warriors of the Western Hockey League.

Named as assistant coaches were Ian Herbers, coach of the University of Alberta, and Louis Robitaille, assistant coach of the Drummondville Voltigeurs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

Canada won the bronze medal at the 2014 tournament, which was held in Finland.
