The 18-year-old Milano, Columbus' first pick and No. 16 overall in last summer's draft, led Plymouth in scoring with 22 goals and 46 assists in 50 games in 2014-15, his first season in the OHL. He spent the previous two seasons with the United States National Team Development Program.
The 22-year-old Karlsson was acquired from Anaheim in the deadline deal sending James Wisniewski to the Ducks. He had two goals and an assist in 18 games with the Ducks, in addition to eight goals and 16 assists in 45 games with the club in Springfield, Massachusetts.
