ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has agreed to terms on a two-year entry level contract with defenseman Colton Parayko.
Parayko has been assigned to the Blues' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, Chicago Wolves.
Parayko, 21, has spent the past three seasons at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. This season, the 6-foot-4, 224-pound defenseman appeared in 34 games and ranked third on the club with 23 points, including six goals and 17 assists.
