Eric Tangradi scores in overtime as Bulldogs edge Flames 2-1

GLEN FALLS, N.Y. - Eric Tangradi scored the winner 4:47 into overtime and Joey McDonald made 39 saves as the Hamilton Bulldogs edged the host Adirondack Flames 2-1 on Tuesday in American Hockey League action.

Charles Hudon opened the scoring at 3:46 of the second period for the Bulldogs (29-23-9), who halted a three-game skid, and Sven Andrighetto picked up an assist on each of his club's goals.

Bill Arnold responded for the Flames (29-22-6) at 13:16 of the third period.

Adirondack's Brad Thiessen kicked out 31-of-33 shots in a losing cause.

Hamilton went 0-for-3 on the power play while the Flames failed to convert on four chances with the man advantage.
