QMJHL Roundup: Laberge scores deciding goal in shootout as Tigres edge Armada

BOISBRIAND, Que. - Pascal Laberge scored the decisive goal in the shootout as the Victoriaville Tigres edged the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada 4-3 on Sunday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Samuel Blais, Gabriel Gagne and Felix Lauzon had goals in regulation for the Tigres (27-28-6). Chase Marchand turned away 34 shots for the win.

Philippe Sanche, T.J. Melancon and Guillaume Beaudoin found the back of the net for Blainville-Boisbriand (38-14-9). Marc-Antoine Turcotte kicked out 23 shots in net.

Victoriaville scored once on three power plays while the Armada went 2 for 6 with the man advantage.

OLYMPIQUES 2 TITAN 0

BATHURST, N.B. — Nicolas Lachance stopped all 29 shots he faced and Gatineau scored twice in the third period to defeat the Titan.

Tommy Veilleux opened the scoring with his 18th of the season while Valentine Zykov added the other for the Olympiques (26-30-5).

Reilly Pickard turned away 34 shots for Acadie-Bathurst (15-39-6) in the loss.

QUEBEC — Dmytro Timashov had a goal and three assists to lead the Remparts over Chicoutimi.

Ryan Graves, Marcus Cuomo, Adam Erne and Zachery Moody supplied the rest of the offence for Quebec (37-21-3).

Alexandre Ranger scored for the Sagueneens (25-29-6) in the second period.

SCREAMING EAGLES 6 DRAKKAR 3

BAIE-COMEAU, Que. — Maxim Lazarev had a pair of goals as Cape Breton scored four times in the second period to double up the Drakkar.

Dillon Boucher, Stephen Anderson, Colby Tower and Loik Leveille supplied the rest of the offence for the Screaming Eagles (27-27-6).

Jeremy Gregoire, Antoine Pouliot and Maxime St-Cyr scored for Baie-Comeau (33-20-8).

OCEANIC 5 MOOSEHEADS 4

RIMOUSKI, Que. — Alexis Loiseau had a goal and an assist as the Oceanic held on to beat Halifax and extend their win streak to three games.

Anthony Chapados, Vincent Dunn, Christopher Clapperton and Francois Beauchemin rounded out the attack for Rimouski (40-15-4).

Winnipeg Jets prospect Nikolaj Ehlers scored on a penalty shot in the third period for the Mooseheads (29-25-6). Timo Meier and Ryan Falkenham also had goals in the third while Connor Moynihan added the other.
