Goaltender Craig Anderson has been activated off injured reserve, the Ottawa Senators announced on Sunday. Anderson is expected to back up Andrew Hammond against the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday.

Anderson has been out since Jan. 21 with a hand injury. Prior to that, he was 13-11-7 with a 2.37 goals-against average and .927 save percentage, which is tied for third in the NHL.

The Senators are still without backup goaltender Robin Lehner, who was injured Feb. 16 when he sustained a concussion in a collision with teammate Clarke McArthur. With both Anderson and Lehner out, Hammond, a 27-year-old rookie, has gone 5-0-0 with a .957 save percentage and a 1.31 goals-against average.

Ottawa also announced that goalie Chris Driedger was re-assigned to Evansville of the ECHL.
