TRADES CONTINUE AHEAD OF DEADLINE

Four more trades were completed Thursday, bringing the total to nine over the past three days in advance of the 2015 NHL Trade Deadline, which is Monday at 3 p.m. ET:

* The Florida Panthers acquired forward Jaromir Jagr from the New Jersey Devils for a second-round pick in the 2015 NHL Draft and a third-round pick in the 2016 draft.

* The Columbus Blue Jackets acquired forward David Clarkson from the Toronto Maple Leafs for forward Nathan Horton.

* The Maple Leafs acquired defenseman TJ Brennan from the Chicago Blackhawks for forward Spencer Abbott.

* The St. Louis Blues acquired forward Adam Cracknell from the Blue Jackets for future considerations.

RANGERS RALLY TO TAKE OVER TOP SPOT IN METROPOLITAN

Chris Kreider (2-0—2) tied the score late in the second period and Lee Stempniak (2-0—2) scored the game-winning goal with 2:14 left in regulation to help the New York Rangers defeat the Arizona Coyotes 4-3 and earn their sixth straight home win over the Coyotes (dating to Nov. 24, 2008).

* At 38-16-6 (82 points), the Rangers passed the idle New York Islanders (40-20-2, 82 points) for first place in the Metropolitan Division, where the top four teams are separated by six points.

* New York won its fourth consecutive game to stretch its point streak to 10 (8-0-2). The Rangers are 10-1-2 this month, equaling the franchise record for wins in February (10-2-2 in 1972); they have one game remaining this month, Saturday at PHI.

* Kreider scored his second power-play goal of the game at 19:48 of the second to tie the score at 3-3. It marked the first time a Rangers player scored multiple power-play goals in a game since April 8, 2014 (Brad Richards, 2-0—2 vs. CAR).

* Kreider leads the Rangers with seven power-play goals and ranks third with 16 goals; he had six power-play goals and 17 goals during his rookie season.

* Stempniak had his first multigoal game since Jan. 21, 2012 (3-1—4 w/ CGY) and first game-winning goal since March 30, 2014 (w/ PIT).

* Cam Talbot made 37 saves, one shy of his career high (Feb. 16 at NYI, 6-5 W), to improve to 12-5-3 this season, including a 7-0-2 mark in his past nine appearances. The Elias Sports Bureau says Talbot is the first Rangers goaltender to earn a point in at least nine straight personal appearances since Mike Richter in 1996-97 (14-0-2).

NIEDERREITER LIFTS WILD BACK INTO PLAYOFF SPOT

The Minnesota Wild surrendered a pair of one-goal leads but Nino Niederreiter scored twice, including the eventual game-winning goal midway through the second period, to help them to a 4-2 win against the Nashville Predators, their fourth win in five games.

* At (32-22-7, 71 points), the Wild passed the idle Calgary Flames (33-24-4, 70 points) into the second wild-card spot in the Western Conference.

* Niederreiter scored multiple goals for the third time in his career (3-0—3 Nov. 13 vs. BUF and 2-0—2 Feb. 16 at VAN). His four game-winners in 2014-15 share the Wild lead, while his career-high 21 goals rank second behind Zach Parise (25).

* Devan Dubnyk made 27 saves to improve to 14-3-1 with the Wild. Since his debut on Jan. 15, Minnesota has earned points in 16 of 19 games; it was eight points out of a playoff spot before that stretch.

* Overall, Dubnyk holds a 23-8-3 record in 38 appearances this season. He ranks among the NHL leaders in shutouts (tied for second, six), goals-against average (fourth, 2.18) and save percentage (tied for sixth, .924).

* Minnesota has allowed 31 total goals in the 19 games since Dubnyk's debut (1.63 per game), compared to 73 total goals against in the 19 games prior to his acquisition (3.84 per game).

* Playing in his 100th NHL game, Erik Haula (1-1—2) had his third career multipoint game. Kyle Brodziak (1-1—2) also had multiple points for the sixth time this season.

HAMMOND PERFECT AGAIN AS SENATORS KEEP PLAYOFF HOPES ALIVE

Andrew Hammond made 35 saves, including a goal line pad-stop in the final minute of regulation, to record his second shutout in as many days (3-0 W at ANA) and lead the Ottawa Senators to a 1-0 win against the Los Angeles Kings. It was the Senators' fourth straight win, tying a season-high, and halted the Kings winning streak at eight games.

* At (26-23-10, 62 points), the Senators pulled within five points of the idle Boston Bruins (29-22-9, 67 points) for the second wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference.

* Hammond is the first goaltender in franchise history to win each of his first four NHL starts. He also is the first Senators goalie to record back-to-back shutouts since Brian Elliott in 2009-10.

* The Senators registered their second victory in 15 all-time visits to Los Angeles (4-3 W Jan. 11, 2000) and their first shutout in 28 games against the Kings.

* It was their second straight shutout in California; they had three shutouts in their first 40 all-time visits to The Golden State.

* Mike Hoffman scored his third game-winning goal at 1:40 of the third period. It was his 21st goal this season, tying Filip Forsberg for the lead among NHL rookies.

CANADIENS MAINTAIN LEAD ATOP EAST

Max Pacioretty scored his 30th goal of the season and P.K. Subban had 1-2—3 to power the Montreal Canadiens to a 5-2 win, their third straight, and a sweep of their season series with the Blue Jackets (3-0-0).

* The Canadiens (40-16-5, 85 points) became the third club to reach 40 wins and maintained their lead atop the Eastern Conference. They also moved within four points of the Predators (41-14-7, 89 points), who lost in regulation, for first place in the NHL. Montreal has one game in hand, but Nashville owns the ROW tiebreaker (NSH: 35, MTL: 34).

* Pacioretty became the sixth player to reach the 30-goal mark in 2014-15, hitting the milestone for the second straight season (39 in 2013-14) and for the third time in his career (also 33 in 2011-12).

* Elias says Pacioretty is just the third Canadiens player to post consecutive 30-goal campaigns over the last 20 years, following Mark Recchi (1996-97, 1997-98) and Michael Ryder (2005-06 and 2006-07).

* Subban had his 11th career three-point performance and fourth this season. He is tied for second among defensemen with 12-35—47 in 61 GP, one back of League leader Mark Giordano.

* Carey Price made 25 saves to record his 35th win of the season, tying Pekka Rinne for the NHL lead. Price also paces netminders with a 1.92 GAA and .935 save percentage in 49 games.

* Price posted his franchise-record 10th straight personal road win. Elias says the last goaltender from any team to win at least 10 straight personal road starts was San Jose's Evgeni Nabokov from Nov. 21, 2009 to Feb. 11, 2010 (11-0-0).

* Andrei Markov (1-1—2) had his second straight multipoint game (96th of his career), while Jacob De La Rose (2-0—2) scored his first two career goals (12 GP). Brendan Gallagher had an assist to stretch his point streak to a career-high four games (4-2—6).

* The Canadiens are 5-1-1 all-time in Columbus. They share the NHL lead with 19 road wins in 2014-15 (tied w/ VAN).

RED WINGS RALLY TO GAIN GROUND IN ATLANTIC

Pavel Datsyuk scored the tying goal at 13:32 of the third period and Luke Glendening scored the game-winner with 1:15 left in regulation to help the Detroit Red Wings defeat the San Jose Sharks 3-2, halting a two-game skid and winning for the first time in five games against the Sharks.

* The Red Wings (34-15-11, 79 points) moved within one point of the idle Tampa Bay Lightning (37-19-6, 80 points) for second place in the Atlantic Division. Detroit has two games in hand, however Tampa Bay owns the ROW tiebreaker (TBL: 35, DET: 31).

* Datsyuk scored his fifth goal in his past four games to take the Detroit scoring lead with 22-28—50 in 49 GP. His 22 goals are his highest total since 2010-11 (23) and 10 shy of his career-high established in 2008-09 (81 GP).

* Datsyuk has 294-560—854 in his career, surpassing Vyacheslav Kozlov for fifth place among Russian-born players.

* Glendening scored his second career game-winner (Jan. 27 at FLA) to help the Red Wings earn their eighth win when trailing after 40 minutes this season (third in NHL).

* Teemu Pulkkinen scored the other goal for Detroit, the second of his career, while Danny DeKeyser (0-2—2) had his sixth career multipoint game.

* Coach Mike Babcock (449-213-102) reached 1,000 points behind the Red Wings bench.

BLUES, BLACKHAWKS NARROW GAP IN CENTRAL

The Blues and Blackhawks, the No. 2 and No. 3 seeds in the Central Division, won on Thursday to narrow the gap behind the top-ranked Predators.

* After the Blues surrendered the tying goal early in the third period, Winnipeg native Alexander Steen scored the game-deciding goal in the shootout to help them defeat the Jets 2-1, snapping a two-game skid and improving to 9-0-2 against the Jets franchise dating to Nov. 8, 2009, including six straight wins.

* Vladimir Tarasenko (7-for-16, 43.8 percent) also scored in the tiebreaker to help the Blues win their sixth consecutive shootout and eighth this season (tied for NHL lead).

* Brian Elliott made 30 saves and stopped two shootout attempts to win for the sixth time in his past seven road games. Elliott is 19-9-2 with a 2.21 GAA and .921 save percentage in 32 games.

* Also playing in his hometown, Ryan Reaves had an assist on Patrik Berglund's goal. Reaves scored the game-winning goal in their first game this season (4-2 W at WPG).

* Corey Crawford made 20 saves record his 12th career shutout (second this season) and help the Blackhawks to a 3-0 win against the Panthers, sweeping a home-and-home set and picking up their seventh straight win against Florida dating to March 23, 2011.

* Crawford snapped a personal three-game skid to earn his 24th win of the season. He is 4-1-0 with a 1.48 GAA and .942 save percentage in six games vs. FLA.

* Playing his first game since Feb. 9, Teuvo Teravainen scored his first career game-winning goal 3:08 after the opening faceoff.

* Brandon Saad (1-1—2) scored his 19th goal of the season (62 GP), equaling his career-high set in 2013-14 (78 GP). Jonathan Toews scored his 19th goal, and has goals in three straight games.

* Marian Hossa (0-2—2) had his 276th career multipoint game; he has 32-32—64 in 53 career games vs. FLA.

Highlights from the rest of action Thursday:

* Jonathan Bernier made 47 saves, one shy of his career high (Dec. 5, 2013 vs. DAL), and the Maple Leafs survived a late rally to defeat the Philadelphia Flyers 3-2 and earn consecutive wins for the first time since Dec. 6 – 16 (6-0-0). Phil Kessel and Tyler Bozak each had 1-1—2; Kessel leads the club with 23-27—50 while Bozak ranks third with 17-22—39. Dion Phaneuf played a game-high 25:28 and scored in his return from a 12-game absence because of injury.

* The Buffalo Sabres broke a deadlock with three unanswered goals in the final 7:17 of regulation, including Torrey Mitchell's game-winner, to defeat the Vancouver Canucks 6-3 and improve to 3-1-1 in their past five games. Mitchell (2-0—2) scored for the first time since Nov. 22 and had his third career multigoal game (last: March 23, 2011 vs. CGY w/ SJS). Brian Gionta (1-2—3) had his second three-point performance of the season (2-1—3 Nov. 18 vs. SJS), while Chris Stewart (1-1—2) and Matt Moulson (0-2—2) also had multiple points for the Sabres.

Jets goaltender Michael Hutchinson stretched his personal point streak to seven games (4-0-3) . . . Winnipeg played its League-leading 22nd game past regulation (OT: 4-7, SO: 6-5) . . . Brothers Daniel Sedin (1-7—8) and Henrik Sedin (3-7—10) teamed up for a goal to extend their point streaks to six games . . . Rangers forward Kevin Hayes had 0-2—2 and has 5-6—11 in his past 11 games, including 2-2—4 in his past three . . .
