Flames recall forwards Ferland, Poirier from AHL
The Flames have recalled forwards Michael Ferland and Emile Poirier from the Adirondack Flames.

CALGARY, AB -- The Calgary Flames announced today that they have recalled forwards Michael Ferland and Emile Poirier from the Adirondack Flames of the American Hockey League.

The Flames also announced that forward Paul Byron has been placed on Injured Reserve and that forward Matt Stajan is on leave (non-roster) for the expectant birth of his child.

Ferland, a native of Brandon, Manitoba has played 10 games with Calgary so far this season and recorded his first NHL point and two PIMs.
