Colin Miller scores two goals including winner in OT as Monarchs beat IceCaps

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Colin Miller tied the game midway through the third period on the power play and then won it in overtime as the Manchester Monarchs edged the St. John's IceCaps 3-2 on Saturday night in American Hockey League action.

David Van der Gulik scored in the second period for the Monarchs (32-12-7), the AHL affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings.

Eric O'Dell and Scott Kosmachuk got St. John's (24-23-8) out to a two-goal lead to start the game.

Patrik Bartosak started in goal for Manchester, making 21 saves in 50:50. Jean-Francois Berube made all three saves he faced in 15:40 of relief.

Connor Hellebuyck turned aside 41 shots in goal for the farm club of the Winnipeg Jets.

The Monarchs scored once on two power plays while the IceCaps were 1 for 3.
