Gabriel Dumont scores twice as Hamilton Bulldogs edge Iowa Wild 2-1

HAMILTON - Gabriel Dumont scored twice to lead the Hamilton Bulldogs to a 2-1 victory over the Iowa Wild in American Hockey League action on Tuesday.

Dumont's first goal, at 14:40 of the second period, tied the game 1-1. His second, at 13:01 of the third, gave Hamilton (24-18-6) the lead.

Michael Keranen had the lone goal for the Wild (17-31-2), who are 2-8-0 in their last 10 games.

Bulldogs goalie Mike Condon stopped 24 shots for the victory.

Iowa's John Curry shouldered the loss after making 33 saves.

Neither team scored on the power play. Hamilton was 0 for 5 while the Wild went 0 for 2.
