Recently retired goaltender Martin Brodeur will be one of the players taking part in an alumni game as part of a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the New Jersey Devils' 1995 Stanley Cup championship, the Devils announced Wednesday.
Among those also taking part in the game, which will be held at 3 p.m. ET on March 7 at AmeriHealth Pavilion in Newark, N.J., will be Scott Stevens and Claude Lemieux.
Brodeur, the NHL's all-time leader in wins and shutouts, retired Jan. 29 after 22 NHL seasons and took a job as the senior adviser to St. Louis Blues general manager Doug Armstrong.
Stevens, who was captain when the Devils celebrated their first championship, is co-coach of the Devils. Lemieux won the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP in 1995.
